• Property Type: Cabins.
• Accommodations: Three 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabins; each sleeps 2.
• Amenities: All cabins feature heat, air conditioning, ceiling fans, front porch, working fireplace, kitchen/kitchenette, satellite TV (DirecTV) with HBO, VCR, phone, and whirlpool tub. See Deerfield Cottage and Bayberry Cottage for amenities in each cabin.
• What We Supply: All bed and bath linens, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, trash bags, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans as well as other assorted cooking and dining accessories, and firewood in season (typically October through April). Also salt, pepper, sugar, starter supply of coffee and tea bags, and coffee filters.
• Open: All year.
• Rates: shown are for single or double occupancy. Prices are subject to 8.5% state and local taxes. Rates subject to change without notice.

• Minimum Stay: 2 nights. 3-night minimum required on certain holidays and special-event weekends.
• Check-in: 4:00 p.m. Earlier check-in available if cottage not occupied the night before.
• Check-out: 12:00 noon.
• Deposit and Payments: Deposit is 50% of stay. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check, and cash accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days (30 days for holidays and special events) prior to the scheduled arrival date to ensure a full refund, less a $15.00 service charge. If cancellation is received within the cancellation period, we will either (1) refund your deposit, less the service charge, if we are able to rebook the dates, or (2) issue a gift certificate in the amount of the deposit good toward a future stay of greater than 2 nights in the event we are unable to rebook the dates. This gift certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of cancellation and may not be used on holidays, on special event dates, or in October. Sorry, there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
• Restrictions: No smoking permitted inside cottages. No pets. Not appropriate for children.
• Recreation and Activities: Hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, and golf.
• Surrounding Attractions and Special Events: Virginia Military Institute, Washington and Lee University, Southern Virginia College, Cyrus McCormick's Farm Museum, Military Museum, Stonewall Jackson House, Lee Chapel, Chessie Nature Trails, Rockbridge Vineyards, Natural Bridge, and Blue Ridge Parkway.
