• Property Type: Lakeside Maine vacation property featuring: lakefront cabin, lakeview cabin, cabin suite, and Maine cedar log home rental cabin.
• Lodging Accommodations: 4 rentals, ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms and 1 to 2-1/2 baths, sleeping 2 to 28 people depending on group individuals.
• Lakeside Vacation Rental Amenities: Cabins: Alarm clocks/radios, CD players, ceiling fans, balcony/porch/deck, telephone, satellite TV, VCR, fireplaces (some rentals), linens and towels provided, and full kitchen with all cookware and bakeware (kitchen with blender, coffee maker, microwave, full refrigerator, oven, electric beaters, and toaster). Property: Parking, gas grills, picnic tables, sandy swimming beach, boat dock, iron, washer/dryer, video library, and Internet connection service available.

• Rates: Nightly Maine lodging rates for cabin rentals are for 2 to 4 people; add $35.00 for each additional person per night. Weekly vacation rental rates are for up to 5 people, add $175.00 for each additional person per week. Group rates available. Rates do not include 7% lodging tax and are subject to change without notice prior to signing lease agreement.

• Minimum Stay: Varies; please call. We do require a 5-night rate requirement in the summer season and during February Vacation Week. If you are unable to stay the 5 nights, you may schedule an early check-in and/or a late check-out. Advance New England lodging reservations for holiday vacation weekends require a minimum rate equal to 3 nights.
• Deposit and Payments: 50% deposit required (full amount if within a 30-day period). Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks, and cash accepted for advance deposit.
• Check-in: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Check-out: before 10:00 a.m.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date for full refund of deposit, less a $35.00 processing fee. With less notice, we will attempt to resell your dates and refund you accordingly. Your deposit is non-refundable if space is not re-sold
• Restrictions: No smoking inside the cabins. No pets. Children welcome.
• Special Events on Property: Weddings, corporate retreats, and family reunions (small groups of up to 24 people). Personal Chef services and Romantic Meal packages available for anniversary and honeymoon celebrations as well as party platters. Contact us for menu item selections.
• Recreation and Activities: On site: swimming, biking, boating, canoeing, fishing (regular and ice), hiking, jet skiing, kayaking, Jeep tours, water skiing, snowmobiling, bird watching, and wildlife tours and moose safaris (depart onsite). Nearby: Fly fishing, guided fishing trips, stocked fishing ponds, ATV rentals, boat and jet ski rentals, fitness center, basketball court, horseback riding, playgrounds, float plane and boat tours, fall foliage tours, shopping, tennis, volleyball, whitewater rafting, golf, driving range, mountain bike rentals, ice skating, downhill and cross-country skiing, and snowmobile rentals.

• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Moosehead Traders, Mud Puddle Mercantile, Moose Crossing Gift Shop, Hamilton Antiques, Gravel Pit Pond (stocked fishing pond; you can fish from the shoreline around the entire pond), and moose watching in the evenings at sunset on gravel roads (ask us where to go).
• Directions: From I-95 Near Newport (Driving North From Portland): Travel North on I-95 for 157 miles from Kittery, where you enter Maine. Take Exit 157 (formerly Exit 39 North) toward Newport & Dexter. We are about a one hour drive from Newport. You will want to head North or West. Take Rt. 7 North to Dexter (about 16 mi.). In Dexter, get on Rt. 23 North toward Guilford (about 15 mi.). Follow directions (Near Guilford) below.
  From I-95 Near Bangor (Driving South From Canada): Travel South on I-95 and take former Exit 39 (now 157 North) toward Newport & Dexter. Take Rt. 7 North to Dexter (about 16 mi.). In Dexter, get on Rt. 23 North toward Guilford (about 15 mi.). Follow directions (Near Guilford) below. From the White Mountain Region of New Hampshire (Goreham, NH): Get on U.S. 2 East to Skowhegan, ME (about 120 mi.). Take Rt. 150 North to Guilford (about 36 mi.) Follow directions (Near Guilford) below.
• Near Guilford, get on Rt. 15 North to Greenville (about 27 mi.). Before you enter Greenville, you'll pass a rest area on the right. Approximately 1/8 mile after the rest area, you'll see our Cozy Moose Cabin Rental sign on the left. Check in at The Cozy Moose house/office (look for the sign and door marked "OFFICE"). We will give you directions to reach the cabins which are about 6 miles north from the office location. Cabins are located on Moosehead Lake's Sandy Bay.
• From Quebec, Canada: Take Autoroute 73 South to St. Joseph-De-Beauce. Get on Prov. Hwy. 173 South to U.S. Border, then South on US 201 to Jackman, ME. Take Routes 15/6 to Rockwood and then Greenville. Travel through Greenville, then look for The Cozy Moose sign on the right.
