The quaint 1300 square foot cabin sleeps 6 with 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room/dining room combination, large kitchen, laundry center, huge front porch and large screened back porch. Bedding is provided, as well as extra quilts, blankets, and a fully equipped kitchen.

During cooler months enjoy a roaring fire in the gas stone-front fireplace and curl up with a good book or magazine from the bookshelf. The front porch is set up with a couple of tables and a glider for dining or having morning coffee. The rear screened porch contains a table for six and a grill for cooking out.

The cabin resides on 5 beautiful acres with its parent house, a 100-year-old Victorian (where the owners live). However, with its own 1.33 acres on the opposite side of the property, the cabin provides privacy and room to relax. There is shade and sun, fruit and pecan trees. A row of blueberry bushes near the cabin produces more berries than can be eaten throughout June and early July. A huge mulberry tree sits beside the cabin which produces fat, juicy berries in early spring.

The small country town of Wellborn is centrally located and just 1.5 hours away from Jacksonville to the east, Tallahassee to the west; 1 hour from Gainesville to the south and 45 minutes to Valdosta in the north. Orlando and Disney World is an easy 2 hours drive and Tampa / St. Petersburg is 3 hours.

The property is flat and open allowing plenty of room for playing soccer, throwing a ball, playing horseshoes or tag for the little ones.

Closeby is Ichetucknee Springs State Park where you can enjoy swimming, tubing, fishing, and picnicking. The Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is also near the cabin.
