Originally built in the early 1900’s by Captain “Peg Leg” John, this homestead was established on the top of a mountain above the hamlet of Little River, just minutes from the historic village of Mendocino.

Discover the original covered wagon, parked by settlers over 100 years ago – and walk the actual wagon trail! Like a cottage from a story book with picturesque barn and Christmas tree farm, imagine yourself in a green meadow surrounded by 80 acres of forest splendor.

Your maximum privacy is insured at The Fox Ranch. The house offers two bedrooms, two baths plus a bonus room perfect for children. The kitchen is amazingly upscale with granite counter tops, modern appliances and mini chandelier. Cozy up around the glass front woodstove and catch up on a movie in the open living room, or simply while away the hours listening to the tinkling of wind chimes as you watch wildlife right from the comfort of the hot tub on the deck.

Located on a gravel road with steep grade. All wheel vehicles highly suggested.
