Three quaint vacation rental cabins are far from the crowds, yet in close proximity to all the natural wonders of Yosemite National Park. Situated within an ancient California forest at a 4,500-foot elevation, Sunset Inn is tucked away on a lush, private meadow surrounded by huge aromatic pines, fresh air, and star-studded nights -- a wonderful hotel alternative.

Two charming double cabins, Larkspur and Sugar Pine, have an attractive studio layout. Interiors are done in the "Craftsman" style of fine woodworking. Each accommodation is complete with a queen-sized bed, well-equipped kitchen, private bathroom with shower, cozy wood-burning stove (firewood is provided), and an inviting sun porch. Both cabins are set on the edge of the surrounding forest. Roll-away beds are available for an additional guest.

The newly remodeled family cabin, The Meadow Lark, is beautifully hand crafted. Built in a studio layout, this 450 square foot, two room cabin offers brand new, ultra plush beds including a queen bed in the main room, and a double and single bed in the other; a well equipped kitchen; dining table and chairs; private bathroom with shower; propane heating including a gas parlor stove with glass door to view the fire, or fan cooling in the summer months. This cabin, overlooks the lovely meadow and frog pond, with a roomy sun porch.
