- Accommodations:
30 rooms, including suites, luxury, and classic lodge rooms
and 5 cabins and private chalets. Suites and luxury rooms have
views of the mountains and the lake plus whirlpool tubs. Classic
lodge rooms have a view of either the mountains and lake or the
meadow. All cabins have cable television and private baths; some
have fireplaces. All cabins are pet friendly. Private chalets
can accommodate from 4 to 18 people
- Rates:
Lodge room rates are per room, per night based on single or
double occupancy; each additional person is $45.00 per night.
Cabin and chalet rates are as noted below. All rates include
full breakfast. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change
without notice. At departure, a 9% Vermont state sales tax and
15% Resort Fee will be added to your bill. The Resort Fee allows
our guests to enjoy daily breakfast, morning coffee service,
afternoon refreshments and a variety of on-site activities for
each day of your stay. The on-site activities vary with the
season and may include trail passes, sledding hill, ice skating
rink, private sandy beach, kayaks, canoes, tennis court, croquet
and lawn games, and hiking trails. Equipment rentals are

- Payment: Deposit
of 100% of stay for is required at the time of booking for 1-night
stays and seasonal packages. For stays of 2 nights or more, a 50%
deposit is required at time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy:
Because of our small size, cancellations affect us
significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of
booking the cancelled room due to our remote location. For these
reasons we uphold a strict cancellation policy. If a cancellation is
made more than 21 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive
a refund of your deposit less a $45.00 handling fee. If a
cancellation is made between 21 and 7 days of your arrival date the
deposit will not be refunded, however the full amount of your
deposit may be applied to a future stay within the next year. For
any cancellation within 7 days of your arrival date the entire
deposit will be forfeited. Should it be necessary for you to depart
earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible
for your entire stay as originally booked.

p.m. for the lodge, (4:00 p.m. for Chalets.) Check-out:

- Restrictions: We
happily allow you to share with your pet the comforts of one of our
mountain cabins, provided they follow these guidelines: All pets
incur a $25.00 per pet, per night charge. For their comfort, they
will receive a dog bed, bowls for food and water, and a welcome
treat. When outside of their guest room, pets must be on a leash and
owners must clean up after them. Pets are permitted on designated
cross-country ski trails. Check at the Nordic/Activity Center for a
list of these trails. Out of respect for non-pet-oriented guests,
pets are not allowed in the Main Lodge. This includes the Dining
Room, Highlands Tavern, Lobby Areas, Conference Room and Porches. No
smoking indoors. Children welcome. Horse boarding available.

Vermont country breakfast is included in the rate, served daily from
7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch/Dinner: Casual-style
bistro fare in the Highlands Tavern from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

to 9:00 p.m. and in the Highlands Tavern from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Snowshoe Center with 60 km of trails for traditional, back country,
and skating lanes plus horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledding, ice
skating, and snowmobiling. Spring through Fall an Equestrian Center,
private beach, kayaks, canoes, scenic pontoon boat rides, tennis
court, pool, lawn games, fly-fishing, clay bird shooting, hiking,
mountain biking, and more. Equipment rentals are available. Nearby
Alpine skiing at Pico and Killington and numerous area golf courses.

Special Events: The Resort features an Equestrian Center with
all levels in Jumping, Cross Country, and Dressage. Guided trail
rides. Nordic ski and snowshoe lessons. Visit the Marble Museum,
Maple Museum, and Woodstock Village for sight-seeing, and Manchester
for outlet shopping. Simon Pearce Glassblowing is located in
Quechee. Antique shops, covered bridges, Ben & Jerry's, Vermont
Teddy Bear Factory, Shelburne Farms, Vermont State Fair, and more
are also within a short distance.
