Our two dogs -- Lily, our yellow lab/shepherd mix and Kenai, our black and white husky -- will also do their best to help make your stay a memorable one.

Enjoy Apple blossoms, wildflowers, and the pomp and ceremony of college graduation in the spring and hiking, biking, horseback riding, golf, fishing, birdwatching, stargazing, shopping, dining, and much more in the summer and fall. Great uncrowded skiing -- both downhill and cross-country -- is just a short 20- to 25-mile drive from the Inn. You should also plan on making at least one trip to our region of Vermont in the fall to enjoy the vivid colors of the fall foliage, the southward migration of the snow geese, and the fun of picking your own fresh apples and pumpkins. And no matter what the season, if conditions are right you will be treated to spectacular sunsets over the Adirondacks or a rare display of the northern lights.

In addition to all the nearby activities, great day trips to Stowe, Lake Placid, Burlington, Ben and Jerry's, and even Manchester and Woodstock should also be considered while you are visiting here. You will also find that the Champlain Valley is located in the heart of America's history highway. Fort Ticonderoga, Mt. Independence, Crown Point, Hubbardton Battlefield, the Rokeby, the Shelburne Museum, the Sheldon Museum, and Plattsburgh, just to name a few, are all nearby.
