- Rates: $100.00 to $150.00 per night
(single or double occupancy) plus tax, depending on the room
selected and the season. A $25.00 per person, per night
additional charge applies to each additional guest (up to 2) in
the suite. Rates are subject to change without notice.

A 2-night minimum stay is required on weekends
(Friday-Saturday, Saturday-Sunday) and for certain holidays such
as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and July 4.

- Check-in: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Check-out:
12:00 noon.
- Payment: All reservations must be
guaranteed with a major credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover
are accepted. Traveler's checks and U.S. currency also accepted
for final payment.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation
notice must be received at least 2 weeks prior to scheduled
arrival date to avoid room charges. If you cancel less than 2
weeks prior to your scheduled arrival, you will be charged for
your entire reservation plus a $25.00 cancellation service
charge unless staff is able to re-rent room. Even if room is
re-rented, you may still be responsible for all or part of the
$25.00 cancellation service charge. For Middlebury College
graduation ceremonies, a 2-month (60-day) cancellation policy
applies.
- Restrictions: Children age 9 or
older are welcome. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the
premises. Sorry, no pets (2 dogs on premises). There are no
telephones or televisions in the rooms; however, there is always
a portable telephone available in the common area.
- Breakfast: Full country breakfast.
- Lunch/Dinner: Available at an extra
charge upon special request and advance notice only.
- Languages Spoken: Some
French
and English.
- Special Events at Inn: Small (less
than 25 people) weddings, receptions, and/or parties.
Golf: Special Stay and Play golf
packages available.
- Recreation & Activities: On-site:
hiking, cross-country skiing, bird watching, star gazing, biking
(located on one of the routes of the extensive Lake Champlain
Bikeways network), and just plain relaxing. Downhill skiing,
swimming, boating, horseback riding, fishing, golf (7 courses
within a 45-minute drive), mountain hiking, antiquing, and
shopping are nearby.
- Attractions & Special Events: Lakes
Champlain and Dunmore, Middlebury College (less than 8 miles
away), and New York State (about 8 miles away). Area historical
attractions include Fort Ticonderoga, Crown Point, the Rokeby,
and the Shelburne, Sheldon, and Maritime museums. Burlington,
Rutland, Stowe, and the Olympic village of Lake Placid are all
between a 1- and 2-hour drive away. Also the UVM Morgan Horse
Farm, Shelburne Farms, the Dead Creek Waterfowl Refuge, Ben &
Jerry's, the Teddy Bear Factory, the Frog Hollow Craft Center,
Mount Philo, some covered bridges, and the Green and Adirondack
mountains.

- Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets:
Crown Point Historic Site (just over the bridge in New York
State), the view from atop Snake Mountain, skiing at the
Middlebury Snow Bowl, and the beautiful waterfalls in downtown
Middlebury.
- Directions: From New York or Boston:
Take either Interstate 91 or 93 to Interstate 89. Take Vermont
Exit 3 off I-89 and follow Route 107 West to Stockbridge and
Route 100. Take Route 100 North to Hancock, where you will turn
onto Route 125 West to East Middlebury. Here, Route 125 merges
with Route 7, which you will take heading north to Middlebury.
From the center of Middlebury, take Route 125 West for about 9
miles to Bridport. Follow the signs for the bridge to New York
State. About 1/4 mile past Pratt's Store, you will see the inn
on your right -- a large white house with a long picket fence in
front.
From Montreal: Take Vermont Route 7 South
to Middlebury; follow the directions above.
From northern New York State: Take the
Crown Point Bridge over Lake Champlain into Vermont and follow
the sign for Route 125. Stay on Route 125 for about 8 miles. The
inn will be on the left, directly across from Lovers Lane.
