Mother Nature offers a few precious gifts of her own for you
to enjoy. You can do a little cross-country skiing over her
freshly fallen snow or go flyfishing in the Battenkill in
early Spring. Or you can just wiggle your toes in the cool
clear water. Bike along country roads for miles without seeing
a car and observe the birds at the Inn's busy bird-feeding
station or while hiking on a forest trail. If you just want to
relax, you can read a good book by the warm fire as Father
Time slows down his clock. Collect wild leeks and fiddleheads
or pick bittersweet while watching nature prepare for winter.
Gather a bouquet of wild flowers as you watch the llamas in
residence. You may even spot a wild turkey or a catch a deer
in motion! |
