- Check-in: is between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. Check-out:
is at 11:00 a.m. Early check-in is not available. The time between
check-out and check-in is important for us to prepare our guestrooms
and all of the common areas.
- Payment: Reservations require a 50% deposit at the time
they are made. The remainder is due upon arrival. Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Discover, travelers checks, or cash accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be
received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for
refund. For later cancellation or if you shorten your stay, there is
no refund unless we are able to re-rent your room. All cancellations
or refunds are subject to a $25.00 service charge.
- Restrictions: No smoking indoors. No pets. Not suitable
for children.
- Breakfast: Full breakfast.

- Directions: From West or North of Richmond:
I-95 South. Left exit onto I-295 toward Williamsburg/Norfolk and
I-64 East. Exit onto I-64 East. Take Exit 284 off I-64. Bear left on
I-264 East toward the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Stay on I-264 East
for 12 miles (you will end up on a residential street, 21st Street).
Take the 5th right onto Arctic Avenue. Cross over 16th Street and
enter parking lot from Arctic behind Barclay Cottage.
From West or South of Emporia: I-95 North to
Exit 11A US 58 East (stay on 58 for 69 miles). Merge onto I-664
South (stay on 664 for @ 1 mile). Merge left onto I-264 East for 24
miles (you will end up on a residential street, 21st Street). Take
the 5th right onto Arctic Avenue. Cross over 16th Street and enter
parking lot from Arctic behind Barclay Cottage.
From New York / New Jersey: New Jersey Turnpike
to Delaware Memorial Bridge. Get on US-13 South (stay on 13 for 10
miles). US-13 becomes DE-1 South (Toll). Get on US-13 in Salisbury,
MD. (stay on it for 165 miles and cross Chesapeake Bay Bridge
Tunnel). Exit on US-60/Little Creek/Virginia Beach turn left at end
of ramp onto US-60 East / Shore Drive. Stay on US-60 for 16 miles
(Shore Drive becomes Atlantic Ave at 83rd St. then Pacific Ave at
40th St.). Turn right onto 16th Street. Turn left onto Arctic Avenue
and enter parking lot behind Barclay Cottage.
