Tucked into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Fox Hill Bed and Breakfast is the perfect base to explore the delights of the Shenandoah Valley. The Inn is conveniently located near the Virginia Horse Center and the historic towns of Lexington and Staunton, Virginia.

Specifically designed to provide a welcome respite for travelers, especially those traveling with dogs, Fox Hill was built in 1998, and combines modern amenities with a rustic European country style. The dining and sitting rooms feature vaulted wooden ceilings, rough cast walls with brick accents and wide plank flooring, a massive stone fireplace soaring two stories – and lots of places for you to stretch out and relax. A full range of accommodations awaits you – chose either the classic Bed & Breakfast experience or one of the Cottage Suites with full kitchen.

The B&B rooms are spacious suites with queen beds, private baths, sitting areas, air conditioning, satellite TV/VCR, free high-speed Internet access and daily maid service. Some rooms have Heat-N-Glo fireplaces and/or private decks. The Cottage Suites are especially designed to accommodate guests who want the utmost privacy, and families. These suites include full kitchen with stove, microwave, and refrigerator and dining area, separate bedroom, living room, private bath, satellite TV, free high-speed Internet access (except Heron's Nest--access available in main building), individually zoned heat/AC, private outside entrance, all dishes and linens are provided and light mid-week maid service is available for week-long visits. Some suites have private deck/porch and a Heat-N-Glo fireplace.

The grounds provide endless opportunities to commune with nature: stroll in the shade along the spring-fed stream as the bluebirds swoop by, feed the fish in the two-tier garden pond while listening to the cascading waters, and wander in the lovely gardens.

A marvelous full breakfast served to B&B room guest with all your favorites: freshly baked pastry, a fruit course, and the daily hot entree in the dining room or, on the really nice mornings, outside on the deck.
