the heart of the Canton, Mississippi Historic District, just a
stroll to the main square. Built about 1860, the home has 14
foot ceilings, heart pine flooring, and two shady porticoes.

scanner, high-speed and wireless Internet connection, and

- 3 miles from the Trace in Raymond, 20 miles south of
Jackson, this cottage has two rooms, each with a private
entrance, private bath, and cable TV. The cottage was built in
1870 and is just behind the main house, which was built in
1836. Both are recently restored and are on the Historic
Register. There is a hot tub on the deck, and a refrigerator

- Located on two acres three miles from the Trace, behind the
courthouse in Raymond's historic district. Guests stay in the
c. 1850 Greek revival front house in two roomy upstairs
bedrooms and relax in the parlor, open front gallery, glass
sunroom, and cozy sitting and refreshment area. Hosts live in
the connecting 1830's rear house. On the National Historic

Mamie's Cottage
- Just a few miles from the Trace, near Raymond, this
beautifully restored, quaint 1840's cottage has two suites,
each with an outside entrance. The larger suite has a queen
bed and adjoining small bedroom with a double bed; the other
has a double bed and adjoining small bedroom with a twin.
There is a porch, a deck, TVs and VCRs, and a small
refrigerator in each. A full breakfast is served in the main
house, and on request, your hosts may be able to serve you

The Corners
- In historic Vicksburg, 15 miles from the Trace. This mansion
was built around 1873 as a wedding present from father to
daughter; on the National Historic Register. All rooms are

historic downtown. Two guest accommodations each have a

columned galleries, winding stairway, and the original slave
