About: Artist Jacquelyne Collett

Jacquelyne refers to her glass and copper pieces as "Glass Constructions". Through line, shape and textural quality, her work might be best described as elegant geometry. In addition to the primary materials of glass and copper, found objects and photographic elements many be incorporated into her work.

I have worked with glass for approximately 20 years. As a child I got goose bumps whenever I thought about being a professional artist. I thought it impossible to realize my dream as I struggled in every art class with realism. It was later that I discovered I could design with ease. I bring my love of design into this body of work: quiet composition, unity, balance, elegance in a diaphanous form. Enjoy!
