Artist Janice Rae
Janice
Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in
Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia, Connecticut, New York &
Florida. She has been painting since the age of five. A self
taught painter, she supplemented her natural abilities by
studying privately for 14 years from 1960 through 1974. Upon
graduating from Youngstown State University in 1977 she
enlisted in the US Air Force. Known as a realist in the medium
oil, her subject matter, style and medium has varied
throughout the years. She currently exhibits in two Galleries;
Houston, Texas and New Bern, North Carolina.
