• Accommodations: Two elegant, yet casually charming rooms. Newly decorated in 2009! Queen size bed and twin bed available in both rooms (pull - out trundle also available in Cypress Room). Bathroom offers tub and/or shower. Refrigerator, coffee make. blow dryer, and iron available for use in rooms. both rooms may be rented as a suite, if preferred. Beautiful courtyard and lush garden are available for reading a book, enjoying some wine, and simply relaxing. Courtyard and garden may also be rented for a small reception or quiet gathering. accommodations are close to MUSC and the College of Charleston. Spoleto Festival and Cooper River Bridge Run visitors are always welcome!
• Rates: $85.00 to $135.00 (seasonally) based on single/double occupancy. Extra person in room is an additional $20.00 per night. Rates do not include the applicable tax and are subject to change without notice. 5% discount for rentals of 5 nights or more.

• Minimum stay: 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
• Payment: 50% deposit is required to reserve your room. Personal checks and money orders accepted. No credit cards. Reservations will be held for one week to receive payment of deposit.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure refund of deposit. Deposit refunded if cancelled within 14 days of visit only if we can rent the room for all cancelled night/s.
• Restrictions: It is requested that there be no smoking on the Merhaven premises. No pets allowed in the room. Please let us know if you will be bringing an infant or a toddler, to better serve you.
• Breakfast: Organic, shade grown coffee and low country tea service are available in your room. A refrigerator is available with bottled water. There are several charming breakfast cafes within an easy 10 minute walk from Merhaven, including the world famous, Hominy Grill.
• Special Inn Events: Courtyard and garden may also be rented for a small reception or quiet gathering. Native American flute-making classes offered at Merhaven by owner, Hawk Hurst. Check out his website at www.hawkhurstflutes.com
• Recreation and Activities: Just a 20-minute drive to three area beaches. Canoeing, kayaking and coastal saltwater fishing. Public tennis courts and 2 city parks nearby. Three beaches, numerous hiking trails and and golf courses - all within a 15 minute drive. Bicycle rentals offered downtown.
• Attractions & Special Events: Located in historic Harleston Village neighborhood of Downtown Charleston. You are within easy walking distance of most amenities including: numerous gourmet restaurants and fine art galleries; the King Street shopping district; several home and garden tours; gorgeous Waterfront Park; and so much more.
