Built in 1905 for James Manning, a prosperous planter and State Senator, the style is reminiscent of an English Country Estate. The grand entry hall, elegant parlors, luxurious guest rooms and personalized service garnered the coveted distinction of a Four Diamond AAA rating.

Abingdon Manor affords you the accommodations and service you would expect of a small luxury hotel. The seven expansive guest rooms, each with private bath, individual temperature controls and fireplace, are luxuriously appointed including comfortably indulgent featherbeds and original architectural details, such as window shutters, mantles and mirrors, that remain as time tested amenities.

Private in-house dining is available every evening to overnight guests at the Inn's Four Diamond-rated restaurant, "The Dining Room at Abingdon Manor". Abingdon Manor presents seasonal menus featuring locally raised meat, poultry and fish accompanied by produce and herbs from the Inn's gardens. A selection of premium spirits, wines and liqueurs are available for your enjoyment.

A complimentary full breakfast is served 7:45 until 9:00 a.m. each morning, catering to both early risers and late sleep-ins.
