Ingredients

3 apples

3 Tablespoons butter

3 Tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 recipe pancake batter (Bisquick or Jiffy baking mix)

Prepare 9-inch springform pan (use vegetable spray). Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Prepare apple mixture. Peel, core, and chop apples. Melt butter in frying pan. Add apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. Saute until apples are tender to taste.

Prepare pancake batter. If using Bisquick, add 3 Tablespoons brown sugar to batter. If using Jiffy, add 3 Tablespoons brown sugar and 2 eggs to batter. Pour into prepared springform pan.

When apples are tender, spoon over batter. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until pancake is brown and a knife shows clean. Serve warm with real maple syrup or syrup of choice. Enjoy!
