being the only room permanently affected by the battle in
1863, there is a minie ball bullet in the mantle above the old
fireplace from the 1st day of the battle, a gracious queen
size cherry sleigh bed and large Edwardian armoire with
mirrors, sitting chair and slipper bench, with an attached

In the carriage house (1850's addition to stone house)
facing the flower garden and deck, this delightful room has an
inviting queen size iron bed and a beautiful antique bureau.
You can read or catch up on your correspondence in style at

The Olde Master

cherry hand-carved rice poster queen size bed, a walnut

The Chamberlain
Room

this patriotic themed room named for the colonel of the 20th
Maine has antique beds, one double and one twin, an antique

maple bureau, attached double stall shower bathroom and window

In the second story of 42 York St., (our annex adjacent
to the stone house, circa 1850-1900), one walks into an

bedroom has a queen size cherry colonial pediment bed and
matching bureau, and en suite with a whirlpool tub and shower

The Loft Suite

The third floor of stone house is probably the most
historically exciting with its exposed stone walls, open
rafter cathedral ceiling, and wide pine board floors from the
beginning of the house. This suite is one large room with a
queen bed, comfortable chairs, mini fridge, wet sink, cable
tv, attached tub and shower, plus a seperate room with a
daybed and tv/dvd player and a writing desk. Wall unit AC.
