The Gananoque Inn, a full-service bed and breakfast hotel offering fine lodging and dining, is nestled on the banks of Canada's St. Lawrence River in the heart of Ontario's 1000 Islands. Once a carriage works, the Inn has been serving travellers since 1896.

Inviting accommodations include 29 rooms in the main building, 14 motel rooms that open directly onto the waterfront, and 10 rooms in the annex.

Many rooms have Jacuzzis or fireplaces, and some have balconies with beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River. A Victorian home next door provides two unique suites ideal for small conferences or wedding groups. Each suite has a deck overlooking the vista of the islands.

A deluxe continental breakfast is included with your room. There is also a breakfast menu with hot entrees, and room service is available. Gananoque Inn also offers creative, fine dining served with a view in the dining room and on the terrace beyond. Casual fare is available in the Pub with its own river-view patio.

The beautifully landscaped lawn of the Inn runs down the water's edge, where white Adirondack chairs invite you to sit and watch the boats at the private 500-foot dock or the activities on the town dock.
