College, and hockey arenas, this peaceful, serene country
home is ideal for college visits as well as area
tournaments and other events.
Three bright, airy suites overlook the water at the
front and the greenland in the back. Comfortable
pillow-top mattresses, color television, and air
conditioning await you in each room. The ground-floor
suites have keyed entrances, and one suite is wheelchair
accessible. All accommodations share a large, screened
sunroom off the main house, with large barbecue grill and
a heated swimming pool available for your enjoyment.
A delicious full breakfast is served every morning, the
perfect way to start your day in the area. You may enjoy
your morning meal ensuite or in the screened sunroom while
perhaps watching. luxurious ocean craft as well as rowing
skiffs from Trent University pass by.
If you want to venture farther from the B&B, walk to
the world-famous liftlocks, to the adjacent woods, or to
downtown Peterborough. During your visit downtown, wander
through museums, art galleries, and the farmer's market.
For some more action, stop by races or the casino, or take
in a boat cruise or some live entertainment. Two golf
courses are also nearby. Numerous tournaments are held
throughout the year. One-way transportation can be
arranged for events occurring in the area. |

During the day, you may swim or relax by the pool, take
leisurely walks by scenic Trent Canal, or watch the antics of
resident pets (two deer, a goose, and a chicken).
You are also apt to see foxes, rabbits, beavers, muskrats,
osprey, deer, Canadian geese, ducks, and cranes. Fish for
bass, crappie, pickerel, muskie and carp, or simply rent a
canoe and picnic on the shoreline.
Feel welcome to bring your own fishing poles, small boats,
or bikes. Your host will be happy to make arrangements for
other activities you have in mind.
