Swiss Inn nestled atop a hill overlooking the beautiful
Doughty Valley and surrounded by Amish Farms. The Inn is just
two miles north of Charm, which is said to have more Amish

Since 1992 Innkeepers, Eric and Julia Guggisberg, have been
offering visitors to Holmes County a peaceful, relaxing
getaway in the virtual heart of Ohios Amish Country. The
Guggisberg Swiss Inn was their vision to provide visitors a
unique way to experience Amish Country. The Swiss-themed Inn
is a tribute to the heritage of the Guggisberg family, and to
many in Holmes County whose heritage can be traced to
Switzerland.
Guggisberg Swiss Inn features 24 tastefully decorated guest
rooms, including a wonderful honeymoon suite complete with
Jacuzzi tub and kitchenette. A handicap-accessible room also
is available. Each accommodation has a VCR (movies available
at front desk), private bath, air conditioning, iron and
ironing board, High-Speed Wireless Internet access and in-room
coffee. Twenty-two of the inn's rooms have two extra-long
double bed sand an extra vanity and one room is handicapped
accessible.
All guests are welcome to enjoy a free Swiss Continental
Breakfast consisting of assorted fresh breads, cold meats and
cheeses, sweet rolls, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, juice and
milk. Served in the beautiful glass-sided dining room, you can
enjoy breakfast while overlooking the pond where resident
swans live and horses graze. Seasonal weather permitting, you
are welcome to join your hosts for a complimentary wiener
roast / country picnic every Sunday evening!
