Tell your hosts you found them on 1st Traveler's Choice. (www.virtualcities.com) - Payment: 50% deposit required, with balance to be paid upon arrival. Visa, MasterCard, certified and travelers' checks, personal checks (only from U.S. residents), and cash accepted.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 20 days prior to scheduled arrival date or you will be charged 15% of the total fee and a 5% transaction fee. No refunds within 7 days of scheduled arrival date.
- Restrictions: Children 12 years and older are welcome. Smoking is allowed on the porch only. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted. Sorry, no pets.
- Breakfast: Self-serve extended continental breakfast in the apartment's own kitchen daily from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
- Languages Spoken: Dutch and English.
- Attractions & Special Events: Prospect Park Zoo, live performances of local artists in Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Coney Island's theme park, the Aquarium, Brooklyn Cyclone baseball stadium, casino boat in Sheepshead Bay, performing arts at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and beautiful beaches (Manhattan Beach and Brighton Beach).
- Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: The Brooklyn Heights Promenade and antique shops along Atlantic Avenue, ethnic gourmet restaurants, flea markets, antique shops, and bookstores in Park Slope.
