The Inn at Cooperstown is in the center of
Cooperstown's Historic District. The hospitality, service, and
high standards at the historic hotel have been recognized with
several awards, including the New York State Historic
Preservation Certificate of Achievement and the Tourism Award
from the Preservation League of New York.
The Inn offers 17 guest rooms, each with
private bath and either one queen or two single beds. Each
lodging accommodation is individually decorated with quality
furnishings and thoughtful touches, including air
conditioning, CD/clock radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing
board, and wireless Internet access. A suite is available,
featuring a sitting room with wet bar and a separate bedroom
with a queen bed. Guests can find televisions and telephones
in the common sitting rooms. A rocker-lined veranda is another
welcoming guest spot, as is the formal dining room.
A Continental breakfast is served every
morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. It includes fresh-baked goods,
toast, cereal, juice, fruit, and coffee and tea.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, there is
probably not a single place more picturesque than Cooper's
Leatherstocking region. With unchanged natural beauty, Otsego
Lake is ideal for boating or fishing. Along its shores are
several fine golf courses and Glimmerglass State Park. The
area's country roads and fields provide a magnificent setting
for biking and cross-country skiing. Year-round, you can enjoy
a workout, swimming, or the indoor track at the Clark Sports
Center. Cooperstown has much to offer in every season.
The Inn at Cooperstown is open all year.
Whether you are seeking a weekend getaway or a quiet
atmosphere for a business meeting, their professional staff is
happy to assist you in planning your visit. |

unpretentious country inn with 17 rooms, spotless on the
inside and stunning on the outside." Conde-Nast

With many attractions nearby, there's more
to do and see in Cooperstown than a day's visit allows. Most
noted, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is
located just 1-1/2 blocks from the Inn.
A short ride away are two other popular
museums; The Farmers Museum, celebrating 19th-century rural
American life, and The Fenimore Art Museum, which boasts
acclaimed collections of North American Indian American art,
American fine art, and American folk art.
The renowned Glimmerglass Opera, theater
performances, and concerts further add to Cooperstown's
cultured diversity in the arts.
