The beautiful city of Santa Fe is steeped in history, tradition, and art. El Paradero has 15 guest accommodations: three upstairs and one downstairs in the main building, nine on the ground level around the courtyard, and two suites in an adjacent 1912 double brick coachman's house. Some rooms have skylights, others fireplaces, porches, and mountain-view balconies. Suites offer private entrances and kitchenettes (dishes and utensils provided). Lodging accommodations are decorated with hand-woven textiles, Mexican tiles, folk art, and Southwestern furniture.

The inn's delicious homemade breakfasts include a different gourmet entree everyday, as well as homemade breakfast breads, fresh fruit, cereal, homemade granola, orange juice, tea, and freshly brewed coffee. Special dietary needs can be met with advance notice.

El Paradero Bed and Breakfast was originally a Spanish farm house built between 1800 and 1820. In the 1880's, Territorial style details were added, and in 1912, the main house was remodeled, adding Victorian doors and windows. Despite that and more recent remodeling, this old adobe has maintained its eccentric, rambling character.

Santa Fe offers great dining, shopping, and cultural events. There are many art galleries and antique stores to browse, as well as Santa Fe Flea Market and Farmers Market. The area is surrounded by National Parks and enchanting mountains offering any number of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, skiing, and golf.
