The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting and the many families, couples and single professionals who stay with the Volker's feel welcome at their comfortable seaside home year after year.

You will enjoy the Inn's casual, Victorian-style ambiance on the expansive wrap-around porch where relaxing in a rocking chair takes you back to the seashore of days gone by. Or make yourself comfortable in the spacious common areas, including the guest kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, or a cafe-style brick patio ready for barbecues or refreshing drinks after a day at the beach. Feel free to unwind in the large living room with its lovely stone fireplace and state-of-the-art entertainment center with free video library. The grand dining room and library are perfect for quiet moments of reading, writing or just relaxing by the tranquil aquarium.

A full breakfast is served at the Inn that includes a hot entree such as sunrise pancakes, breakfast meats, fresh baked goods, home-made muffins, cereals, granola, assorted fruits and juices, gourmet coffee, and sumptuous imported teas. It's a great occasion to meet other guests or quietly read the morning paper.

The Inn is located within sight of the Atlantic ocean and Belmar's wide, beautiful beaches and boardwalk, and just steps away from serene Silver Lake, home of the first flock of swans bred in America.

Your hosts are ready to help you explore the surrounding area, where you can find a host of activities to appeal to any life-style. They can arrange fishing expeditions on the famous Belmar Marina charter fleet, and excursions to nearby amusement parks, historic landmarks, Atlantic City casinos, and Broadway shows.

Rosemary and Tom can direct you to the many recreational activities available, including volleyball, golf, tennis, biking, rollerblading, scuba diving, jet skiing, thoroughbred racing, shopping and antique hunting.
