Carter Notch Inn sits high atop a hillside overlooking New Hampshire's Wildcat River Valley and the White Mountains. Guests at the Carter Notch Inn feel at home as soon as they arrive. The wrap around porch provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, Wildcat river and Eagle Mountain House golf course. This peaceful setting is ideal for reading or sharing the day’s activities with other guests, whilst sipping complimentary wine or beer from the guest fridge or during cooler months hot cocoa & cookies .

Each of the inn's guest rooms has their own unique personalities and are tastefully decorated with antiques and country style arts and crafts. Some rooms and suites offer a fireplace and/or a Jacuzzi tub. Accommodations vary with either a king bed, queen bed or a combinations with twin beds.

The lounge, with large wood burning fireplace, provides ample seating for those wishing to watch TV, play the piano, read or play board games. The Den allows you to keep in touch with high speed Internet computer, complete with smart digital reader to view and download those magical pictures captured during the day. Relax in our year round outdoor hot tub, set on a lovely decking area, where you can enjoy the peaceful, mountain air and look out for the occasional wildlife including deer, bear, moose & turkeys!

A hot, hearty country breakfast is lovingly prepared every morning and served in the dining room. In the summer you can take your breakfast out on the covered porch.

There's an array of things to see and do in and around Jackson. The Inn is only 300 yards from the spectacular "Jackson Falls". Each year, when the forest foliage explodes with brilliant autumn colors, Carter Notch Inn has an unparalleled front row view of the spectacle. When winter sports come into season, the Inn has convenient access (ski from the front door) to the best skiing in the area. And in the summer, the nearby golf courses beckon, including Eagle Mountain, Wentworth, and North Conway Country Club. Other activities include hiking, swimming, tennis, as well as shopping and dining in nearby Conway.
