The Castle Bed &
Breakfast on Silver Lake, located on North Carolina's famed
Outer Banks, offers guests picturesque views of Silver Lake,
which serves as a harbor to laid-back Ocracoke Island.
The Castle offers
two separate options for your lodging accommodations: an
11-room bed and breakfast and The Castle Courtyard Villas,
which are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom luxury condominiums all residing
on beautiful Ocracoke Island.
Bed &
Breakfast Rooms & Suites: The
Castle Bed and Breakfast has 11 tastefully decorated guest
rooms, each with a private bath, television, and a small
refrigerator. Three of the rooms have whirlpool tubs. An
unusually shaped third-floor Lighthouse Suite
houses two sitting rooms in addition to the bedroom area,
while the spacious Harbor Room has a queen bed
and 2 twin beds.
Guests often relax
in the large downstairs den with its own satellite television
and a custom-made pool table. The parlor is a great place to
sit and sip morning coffee or just to relax and read the
paper. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, poolhouse with
sauna and steam shower, a conference room with Internet-ready
computer, and wireless Internet access on the property.
Enjoy a full buffet
breakfast each morning that includes eggs and biscuits or
pancakes, along with fried potatoes, cheese grits, bacon,
grilled sausage, fresh fruit, and an assortment of juices,
muffins, and pastries.
Courtyard
Villas: The
Castle's second type of accommodation is the Courtyard Villas.
Each of the eight villas features a master suite and a
separate lockout bedroom. All can be rented separately or as a
one-, two-, or three-bedroom unit. These villas feature
white-washed cabinetry and spacious, fully equipped kitchens.

The Castle
innkeepers are glad to pick you up from the island's airstrip.
Please let us know when you make your reservation if you will
need that service. 'Captains' enjoy complimentary dockage at
the Castle docks with power hookups and a fish cleaning
station.
The Castle Bed and
Breakfast and Courtyard Villas are within walking distance of
seasonal boutiques, waterfront dining, and a variety of
entertainment venues.
To make it easy for
you to get to Ocracoke Island's sun-washed beaches and other
parts of the island, the Castle on Silver Lake also provides
