• Payment: Deposit is either a 50% of stay with cash or a credit card guarantee. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks, and cash accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: A deposit of 50% of your stay plus any packages/services will be charged to your credit card. One night stays will be charged the full amount. Reservations cancelled 15 days or less prior to scheduled arrival date are considered non-refundable deposits unless re-booked by someone else. Early departures and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation. All cancellations before the 15 day limit will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. Storm and Hurricane Cancellation Policy: If there is a Dare County mandatory evacuation then you can cancel with no cancellation fee charged. We can not control rainy weather or summer storms and that is not a valid reason to cancel your stay.
• Restrictions: No pets. No smoking indoors (allowed on porch and outside). Not suitable for children.
• Breakfast: Full buffet.

• Directions: From Northern Points: At NC border, Rt. 168 South to 158 (168 feeds into 158). Stay on 158 all the way to the Outer Banks. Cross the Wright Memorial Bridge and stay on 158 for 20 miles (just beyond Tanger Outlet Mall on right). Bear to the right onto 64/264 across causeway/bridges to second stop light. At light, turn left onto Rt. 345 to Wanchese and go approximately 3.5 miles. Bear right at "Y" in road onto Old Wharf Road. Island House sits on the right off the road directly across from the large white church. Enter on grass driveway through trees to parking blocks near screened porch. Security lights will automatically turn on in the evening.
