Carambola Inn Bed and Breakfast is a historic home located on 88 acres of land inside the Jones-Johnson Historic District of Fuquay-Varina just outside Raleigh and 30 miles from Chapel Hill and Durham, NC.

Settled in the middle of a pine and tulip poplar thicket with a 100-year-old pecan tree in the backyard, at this B&B you can bird watch, wander country paths, see a multitude of plants and animals, and yet still be within walking distance of cafes and shops.

Carambola Inn offers four guest accommodations, including the Honeymoon Suite on the second floor, all with fireplaces and handicapped-friendly facilities. Each room has a four-poster bed, except for the downstairs Master that boast a giant sleigh bed.

Homemade goodies, including fresh honey, and complimentary honey soap (all organic) are available, as well as a well-stocked kitchen for 24/7 snacks. A full breakfast is served each morning. .

Only 12 miles from Raleigh, world class theatres, music and museums are just a short drive away from the inn. Fishing, boating, golf courses, and more are all available a short distance away. While restaurants and shops are all within walking distance, complimentary transportation into town is also provided.

The 85-acre working farm, as well as the 70-acre adjacent farm, is available with several miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. A stall is available for one to two horses and a complete riding academy is just down the street.
