Located in the mountains just ten minutes outside of Asheville, North Carolina, Owl's Nest Inn and Engadine Cabins are settled on 12 acres near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Built in 1885, the Inn has been completely restored to maintain its Victorian character and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Bed & Breakfast

The common areas at Owl's Nest Inn are ideal for relaxing and getting to know your hosts and fellow guests. The living room has a fireplace and a television for your enjoyment. A piano resides in the dining room for those who like to entertain the innkeepers. Games, books, and a chess set are available on the second level of the Inn. Outside, you will find wraparound porches, a patio, and benches in the meadow for enjoying the breathtaking mountain views.

The five guest rooms in the Inn are spacious and comfortable, offering both central air conditioning and ceiling fans. Each lodging accommodation provides guests with a sitting area and private bath. Four of the rooms have gas fireplaces, and the other one has a whirlpool tub for two. King-, queen-, and twin-size beds are available.

A full breakfast for guests staying at the Owl's Nest Inn is served at 9:00 a.m. by the fireplace in the candlelit formal dining room. Inn guests can also enjoy afternoon refreshments, including hot tea, plus other goodies throughout the day, a pleasant treat after a day of sight-seeing in the area.

Attractions abound in this magnificent part of the country, all providing scenic recreation and relaxation. Survey the scenery by hiking or biking the trails that wind through the area. Golf, tennis, fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and snow skin and tubing all await. The Log Cabins

The five Engadine Cabins are situated on a hilltop overlooking the Inn, offering privacy and comfort.

Each luxury cabin is self-contained with bedroom, kitchen, living area, bathroom with hot tub, and porches with a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and provides full amenities including a fireplace, satellite television with VCR, central air conditioning, and telephone.
