Room #1: The Study
Room (pictured above right)
Conveniently located on the 1st floor of the mansion,
entry door opens to a small foyer with a second door leading
to the bedroom. A solid brass queen bed is graced with a half
canopy at the head. The room also offers a day sleigh bed for
a second guest (or third, with additional charge). The antique
mahogany armoire and large, oval mirrored dresser are a
treasured period furnishing in this handsome room. A private
bath has a deep claw foot tub with shower. The guestroom can
be converted into a larger suite with a living room/study,
fireplace and a trundle bed.
Room #2: The Eastlake
Room (Pictured left)
This elegant, spacious room has all the embellishments of
its era dating back to 1891. A queen bed dressed with a damask
spread and velvet pillows, rests under a cloud of white
Victorian lace, veiling the high ceiling. Aptly named for the
exquisite Eastlake period furnishings, the fainting couch
summons a great novel in front of the warm glowing fireplace.

Room #3: Romeo &
Juliet Room (not shown)
The high, open ceiling of this guestroom has an oak and
brass fitted fan, surrounded by a decorative medalion.
Charming floral wall paper, with shades of bittersweet,
wisteria blue and moss green provide the backdrop for the
antique furnishings- queen size bed, chest and armoire, plus
comfortable reading chair. A peek through the lace curtains
reveals a decorative window balcony. the bathroom has a shower
and an antique vanity, in the bedroom has been modified to
accommodate a basin.
Room #4: William
Breese Room (pictured right)
Richly carved mahogany wood majestically frames the queen
bed. A crest of luxurious fabric provides a canopy over a
thick spread of deep gold, adorned with an abundance of satin
and velvet pillows. A private bath with shower will rejuvenate
you after a day of antiquing downtown. A cylinder top desk
near the fireplace completes this retreat. |
Room #5: Queen Anne
Room (pictured left)
The stately king bed commands a prominent position in
this spacious room. A spread of rich fabrics compliments the
high ceiling, veiled with a matching pattern of deep reds and
sage green. This veil is gathered at the center, creating a
dramatic crown. The fireplaces adds a romantic touch to this
already majestic retreat. The bathroom boast a deep soaking
tub and shower.
Room #6: Garden Room

This former servants room has the unique historic
features such as doorway leading to a back staircase accessing
the kitchen, and a closet, 'behind the closet', where the
family's precious silver was stored. This bright room,
decorated with Laura Ashley paper and bedding, reveals views
of the landscaped grounds and English perennial gardens. A
queen bed of brass and white iron, fireplace and a soothing
clawfoot tub (and shower), transform this room to a special
retreat. |

Room #7: Page Room
Elaborate fringed drapes frame the entry way of this
cozy, home-like room of blues and pinks. A wonderful
collection of papers adorn, not only the walls, but the
ceiling too! A satin spread graces a lofty queen bed of
feathers. High-backed wing chairs invite a resting spell.. A
private bath has a shower. |
Room #8: Tower Room
This room sports a queen bed, with a high majestic
headboard of carved oak, nestled in this tower of the grand
mansion. The bath is its most alluring feature found three
steps up in a private turret with a deep claw footed tub,
hardwood flooring, antique vanities and mirrors. |
Room #9: Celebration
Suite (pictured right)
A king bed, worthy of royalty, dressed in white
matelasse and heaped with satin pillows, is the centerpiece of
the bedroom. (This can also be converted into 2 twin size
beds.). Take delight in a private Jacuzzi tub (with hand-held
shower) or rest in the comfortable living area, complete with
television. (If the suite is serving as a family or friends
retreat, the sofa can be converted into a sleeper.)
Room #10: Serenity
Suite (not shown)
This wonderfully secluded suite resides on the garden
level of the mansion. The suites has a large private verandah,
complete with charming wicker furnishings. The cozy sitting
room has a plush sofa (converts to a full sleeper), reading
chair, and television (which is discreetly hidden in an
antique wardrobe). The beautifully appointed king bed is
complemented by an Empire style oak dresser. A gas fireplace,
with a delicately carved mantle, enhances the romantic
setting. The full bath has a Jacuzzi tub for two and is
enhanced by a 'rain-effect' shower head. (A coffee-maker and
mini-frig are conveniences exclusive to this suite.) |
Guest Cottage #1 -
(shown right)
This 1915 bungalow sits just up the path above the
croquet lawn and English perennial gardens. A cottage-style
queen bed graces the bedroom, and a modern tub with shower
complement your private bath. A separate sitting area with
mission style antiques, offers space to recline and enjoy the
television. Access the shared kitchen, complete with a
full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave add to
your convenience. The entire cottage may be rented (including
the two-bedroom suite),
Guest Cottage #2

The two-bedroom suite is a separate entity from the
one-bedroom suite, with its own private entrance, within the
same bungalow. This suite, ideal for 2 to 6 persons, has two
bedrooms; a queen bed in one, and a double bed in the other,
and a queen size sleep sofa in the living room. The private
bath features a grand claw foot tub (with shower), that is
shared by both bedrooms. A large living area, in addition to a
front porch appointed with wicker furnishings, is appreciated
by family and friends wishing additional privacy. You can
utilize the convenience kitchen and entire cottage may be
rented (including the one-bedroom suite), accommodating a
total of 6 persons.
