Some furniture is handmade and additional amenities include hair dryers, coffee makers, flowers, complimentary beverages, and snacks.

Always warmly welcomed, families traveling with children will love the Ranch Hand Family Suite, complete with kids' rooms with bunk beds for two. Rollaway beds are available in some rooms. Native American art and Wild West decor are featured in the Dream Catcher Suite, and the Moonshiner Suite even has a real operating still that actually made moonshine.

Misty Mountain Ranch B&B now has brand new vacation rental cabins available with plenty of amenities including, fireplace, queen size beds, loft deck, cable TV, DVD player, VCR, fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, range, refrigerator, and ice maker. Breakfast is not included with cabin accommodations.

Just like the suites, breakfasts at Misty Mountain Ranch are usually themed. You may enjoy mountain breakfasts such as Mountain Waffles and Whip Cream with Eggs, City Ham, and Mountain Bacon (a fancy name for bacon and eggs). Fruit is always available, as is mountain-grown Dunkin' Donuts coffee and skimmed mountain milk. The dining room is formal, the attire is casual, and the music is Blue Grass.

Just 13 miles from Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, Misty Mountain Ranch is convenient to everything that Cherokee and Maggie Valley have to offer, including skiing and snow tubing in the winter months.

In season, the outdoor drama Unto These Hills tells the story of the Trail of Tears. However, between the stocked rainbow trout on the property and cookouts when the weather cooperates, you might find it difficult to leave Misty Mountain Ranch.
