Sans-Souci Euro Inn & Cottages is a private nature retreat that resides on fifty acres of towering trees, groomed landscapes, a shimmering, secluded lake that is home to abundance wildlife just 70 miles from Chicago. Nestled in the heart of Harbor Country, the retreat is just three miles from New Buffalo and Three Oaks, and the Lake Michigan shoreline.

This gated sanctuary tenders family vacation homes, romantic getaway suites, and lakeside cottages for fisherman. The interiors, of European character and design with wood-burning fireplaces and whirlpool baths, guarantee a niche for the solitude seeking couple, the wedding party, small business group, or family reunion.

Accommodations at San-Souci include a three-bedroom home, a two-bedroom home, two one-bedroom cottages, and two suites. All bedrooms have a private bath. All homes, suites, and cottages have woodburning fireplaces and whirlpool baths. The homes and cottages have a fully equipped kitchen, while suites are furnished with a kitchenette. Wireless Internet access is available in all accommodations. Screened gazebo, private rowboat, gas grill, swimming beach (or ice skating spot, weather permitting), fishing, picnic table, hammock, walking trails and bonfire point are just some of the lakeside amenities you can enjoy. Fire-side massage services are also available.

A sandy beach slopes gently into Lake Sans Souci, inviting for a quiet swim, or bring your tackle box to supplement dinner on the grill with fresh pan fish. In a mile-stroll around the lake you will pass their private vineyard, the Galien River Valley, whispering pines and vast wildflower meadows. Discover hammocks in hidden places, or a rocking chair in the terrace.

Families enjoy the grass court and basketball hoop. A crocket or horseshoe game can be set up on your own front lawn. The outdoor fireplace in the new terrace is always serviced; it is a well-likened spot for that tasty glass of local wine before bedtime.

In and around Harbor Country you'll find gourmet restaurants, antique and specialty shops, art galleries an intimate movie/art theatre, nature centers and state parks.

Biking trails along wineries and the Lake Michigan Shores offer a most picturesque ride. A casino and the outlet mall are within an hours’ drive.

Only three miles to go for the early Golf game, a lesson for you or your kids in horseback riding, a spa-visit or masseuse services, all can be pre-arranged.

San-Souci Euro Retreat is a beautiful setting for weddings and special occasion events. Outdoor, lakeside weddings in May, June, late August, September and October can be arranged.
