• Minimum stay: A 2-night minimum stay is required during the Summer and Fall seasons. Special arrangements can also be made for corporate guests.

• Payment: An Advance Deposit equal to 50% of the room charge (plus a 7% Maine Lodging tax) for the length of stay is required to confirm a reservation. The Balance Due on confirmed reservations is to be paid at Check-in. Acceptable methods of payment at Check-in are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash and travelers' checks.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be received More than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for the Advance Deposit to be refunded in full.
  If Less than 14 days from arrival: Due to our short season and limited number of rooms, cancellations made with less than 14 days notice will forfeit the Advance Deposit if we are unable to re-rent the room for the entire period.
• Reserved Parking: One reserved parking space is assigned to each room in the Primrose Inn's private off-street parking lot
• Check-in: 4:00 p.m. Check-out: by 11:00 a.m. Sorry, no late check-outs available.
• Restrictions: No smoking. No pets. About Children: please note that all of our rooms have one queen-size or king-size bed and can only accommodate a total of 2 guests per room.
• Cuisine: A hearty full breakfast with choice of two entrees and Afternoon Tea with freshly baked treats.
• Recommended Favorite Recipes: Crab Egg Toasts, ... Eggs Florentine, ... Oatmeal Raisin Pancakes, and Primrose Coconut "Joys".
• Recreation & Activities: Hiking and biking in Acadia National Park; Whale Watching and Scenic Cruises/Sailing in Frenchman Bay, Shopping in Bar Harbor's Downtown, and Gourmet Meals in Bar Harbor Restaurants.
• Attractions & Special Events: Acadia National Park (less than 1 mile), Village Green (3 blocks).
• Directions: Take I-95 to Bangor, then I-395 East (Exit 182A) onto 1A South towards Bar Harbor-Ellsworth, where it merges with Route 3. Take 3 East towards Bar Harbor. On Mt. Desert Island, bear left at the traffic light. Continue on Rt. 3 (about 9 miles) into town and turn left at stop sign onto Mt. Desert Street. Primrose Inn is one block on left. Enter our parking lot just past our sign. Driving time from Bangor is about 1 hour.
