• Payment: Deposit is 50% of entire stay. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and personal checks accepted. Travelers' checks and cash on arrival.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date or your room must be rerented for the entire stay booked in order to receive a refund of deposit (less a $25.00 cancellation fee). Early departures will be handled in the same manner.
• Restrictions: No pets. No smoking. Children over 11 welcome.
• Breakfast: Full breakfast.
• Recommended Favorite Recipes: Stuffed French Toast, ... Fruit Sauce, ... Breakfast Juice, ... Jim's Baked Apples, ... Potatoes Eileen and Grandma Wilkin's Baked Eggs.
• Recreation & Activities: Near to Acadia National Park, hiking, biking, golf, carriage rides, whale/nature cruises, sea kayaking, canoeing, tennis, and swimming. Mt. Desert has oceans, mountains, mountain streams, ponds, forests, all in one location! The Inn provides special fishing and kayaking packages.
• Attractions & Special Events: Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor - music festivals during most of the season. Within 1 mile of Kebo Golf Course, the 8th oldest in the U.S.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Maggies, Poor Boys Gourmet, and Thurston's Lobster Pound.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Hunter's Beach and Beech Mountain.
• Directions: Take Route 3, the only way onto the island, into the village of Bar Harbor. Take the second left onto Cottage Street. Proceed 2 blocks down, left into the "parking lot" just past the Town Hall (that's Summer Street, but there's no street sign). Our lot is straight ahead.
