The B&B is Bar Harbor's oldest inn and was originally a stagecoach stop and tavern. Coach Stop Inn offers fine accommodations with lots of charm and extra little touches, and a country setting surrounded by antique apple trees and lovely gardens.

Accommodations at the Coach Stop Inn include three guest bedrooms and two suites. All three guestrooms feature a private bath, private entrance, and patio or covered porch. The two suites both offer full private baths and a separate sitting room, one of which has a working fireplace. All rooms and suites have queen beds fitted in the finest bedding and extras including luxurious spa towels, in-room refrigerators and air conditioning.

In the morning, Coach Stop Inn's award winning chef/owner prepares a spectacular three course gourmet breakfast. Some of the inn's culinary delights include Eggs Tuscany, Macadamia Encrusted French Toast, Eggs Peloponese, Pistachio Stuffed French Toast, Wild Maine Blueberry Fritters, Fruit Parfaits, and Eggs Napoleon. Inn has an original mid-19th century Queen Atlantic wood cookstove, which serves as a 24-hour hot bar offering artistic confections, as well as coffee and tea.

When visiting Bar Harbor, Maine, enjoy fine accommodations, excellent food, and an atmosphere that will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time. Come see why Down East magazine says Coach Stop Inn is "Where to Stay in Bar Harbor."

Coach Stop Inn is conveniently located on 1.4 pastoral acres in Bar Harbor, approximately 1-1/2 miles to a public beach, 4 miles from the main entrance to Acadia National Park, 5 miles from downtown attractions, making it easy to experience all that Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park have to offer. Your hosts, Jeff and Natalie Reynolds will be glad to assist you in tailoring the perfect vacation for you.

Some local attractions include the Acadia National Park, 55 miles of the Rockefeller carriage roads, and 160 miles of hiking trails. The local area also offers many activities including whale watching, interesting museums, sailing, canoeing, fishing, shopping, kayaking, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and antiquing.
