• Rates: Rates shown are for single and double occupancy and do not include a 7% Maine sales tax. Additional adults - $15.00 per night. Children under 5 stay free. Children 5-12 years old - $5.00 per night. Weekly rates are available upon request. Rates are subject to change without notice.

• Minimum stay: 2 nights on weekends during June, July and August. If you choose to stay one night only, a $20.00 surcharge will be added (based on availability).

• Payment: Full payment is required for a deposit on a one-night stay. A 50% deposit is required for 2 or more nights. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash and personal checks are accepted. There will be an additional charge of $20.00 for all returned checks.
• Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date for full refund. If notice of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to scheduled arrival and room can be rerented, a full refund will be given.
• Restrictions: No smoking. No pets. Children always welcome.
• Breakfast: All-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet.
• Languages Spoken: French and English.
• Special Events at Inn: Daily yoga, therapeutic massage and Reiki available. Small weddings, small parties and retreats.
• Recreation & Activities: Beach fun on five nearby beaches, biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating, deep-sea fishing, golf, tennis, outlet store shopping, varied dining experiences.
• Attractions & Special Events: Short Sands Beach (float rentals), Nubble Light Lighthouse, York's Historical Villages and Homes, York's Wild Animal Kingdom (5 minute walk), Rachel Carson Wildlife Sanctuary, Ogunquit Playhouse, Mt. Agamenticus, Kittery Factory Outlets, water parks, children's playground and arcade (only 2 blocks away), boutiques and antique shops, art and craft galleries.
• Directions: From I-95 North or South: Take Exit 7 “The Yorks” just south of the Maine Turnpike Toll Plaza. Proceed to Route 1, taking a left at the lights onto Route 1 North. Travel north on Route 1 for 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Route 1A. Follow 1A for 1.4 miles. Turn left onto FREEMAN STREET. Candleshop Inn is number 44, 2/10 of a mile further and on the left. Parking is located behind the Inn.
