  Minimum stay is 2 nights on weekends and some holidays between Memorial Day and Columbus Day. Call for exceptions.

• Check-in: Between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Rooms will be held only until 7:00 p.m. unless special arrangements are made in advance.
• Payment: Deposit is 1 night's stay or 50% of total stay, whichever is greater, to be processed at the time of your reservation. This deposit shall apply to your last night(s) stay. The balance is due upon arrival at check-in. Visa, MasterCard, travelers' checks, and cash accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to ensure refund of deposit, less a $20.00 cancellation fee. With less than 2 weeks' notice, refund is subject to re-rental of room. Last-minute cancellations (within 3 days of the scheduled arrival date) will result in a charge for the entire reserved stay. No refunds for early departures.
• Restrictions: No pets. No smoking in the house or on the porches. Adult "getaway" atmosphere.
• Breakfast: Full buffet served from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
• Recreation & Activities: Swimming, shopping, golf, fishing, hiking, biking, harbor sight-seeing tours, and kayaking nearby.
• Special Inn Events: Wedding receptions under 50 people.
• Attractions & Special Events: Kittery Outlet Mall, Portsmouth shops, 2 beaches within 1/2 mile, Old York Historic Village, and York Harbor.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Cape Neddick Lobster Pound, Fazio's, Arrows, and Hurricaine.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Gorgeous cliff walk begins 5 minutes from Inn. Enjoy bold ocean view above a rocky coastline.
• Directions: From the South: Take Interstate 95 North towards "All points in Maine". After crossing the Piscataqua Bridge in New Hampshire, you will be in Maine. Take Exit 4, "The Yorks" (last exit before tollbooth for The Maine Turnpike). Follow directions "From Both Directions (North and South)" below.
  From the North: Take Interstate 95 South. After passing through the last tollbooth on the Maine Turnpike (just south of Wells and Ogunquit), take first exit, "The Yorks". Follow directions "From Both Directions (North and South)" below.
  From Both Directions (North and South): Follow the spur road from Exit 4 "The Yorks" to Route 1. (The Chamber of Commerce Building and Stonewall Kitchen Home Offices will be directly in front of you.) Go right onto Route 1 South. Immediately move to the left lane. At the first stoplight, go left onto Route 1A (York Street) for approximately 2-1/2 miles. As you enter the old village, be sure to stay on York Street by bearing right at the statue of the soldier. The Tanglewood Hall entrance will be clearly distinguished by our sign and two white gates on your right (611 York St.).
