The Inn is surrounded by lakes, mountains and rivers, with
many nearby year-round activities.
You can take a short hike up the Jockey Cap Trail, or the
Saco River is within walking distance for a nice swim from
sandy beaches or leisurely canoe ride
During the summer months, hunting, fishing, antique shops,
hiking, cycling, golf, skiing, and factory outlet shopping,
dining or escape behind the Inn, for spectacular mountain
views from the back lawn and gardens. |

You will also find other activities such as antiquing, short
or long scenic drives, and factory outlet shopping just ten
minutes away. The Historical Museum in the village is just one
of the fascinating spots in town to visit. There are also
nearby theaters and restaurants for your convenience. |

In the wintertime take a snowy walk, ski or snowshoe right
behind the Inn! There are cross country and downhill ski areas
closeby. Shawnee Peak, a great family ski area is only 10
minutes away, and Mount Cranmore is just 20 minutes from our
door. Take a trip to Wildcat Mountain and view the magnificent
Presidential Range of the White Mountains while enjoying some
great skiing and riding! |
