All rooms have new private bathrooms, firm Sealy
Posturepedic mattresses, top-of-the-line towels, and fresh
flowers. Each room is unique by its furnishings and by the
feeling it exudes. |
Room
#1 (Tranquility)
Absorb the feelings of serenity and the charm of a little
island in the harbor as you gaze upon the sails of the boats
passing by your window and sea gulls soaring playfully. This
room features antique mahogany furniture, including a
beautiful queen-sized poster bed, Karastan Oriental rug, and
floor-length drapes. Soothe the self in a luxurious bath with
a specially designed deep tub in an attractive setting with
pedestal sink, cream and rose tile floor, drapes, and custom
lighting. |
Room #2 (Beauty)
Experience the fresh sea air, natural sounds, and
beautiful water views from your own terrace. A French door
(private entrance) leads you to an outside seating area which
has old-fashioned Maine rockers, white wooden table, and
flower boxes. Simple and elegant, this room is very light and
airy, with several windows, French sheer drapes, new oak
floor, antique queen mahogany poster bed, and other
furnishings. Nicely appointed full bath with gold leaf mirror,
brass lighting, and chintz curtains. |

Room
#3 (Sweetness)
A comfortable room that graciously accommodates friends
or family with its two very old and beautiful high poster
mahogany beds, which can easily be transformed to a lovely
large king-sized bed for couples. The room features mahogany
furniture, floor-length chintz drapes, a new light oak floor,
and custom brass lighting. Your view is of trees, birds, and
gardens below. Nicely appointed full bath. |
Room
#4 (Lightness)
This is a cozy third-level room with a private flowered
entrance and a peek of the harbor. A small, new room, it holds
much charm with its interesting architectural design and its
ample amount of light and fresh air. This room offers oak
floors, sheer drapes, queen-sized bed, mahogany furnishings,
and an attractive bath. |

The Cottage
(Solitude) (photo left)
Follow the stone steps to your own beautiful and private
retreat amidst the natural surroundings of evergreens,
flowering bushes, and a fresh water duck pond. Originally a
place to build and repair lobster traps, it has been lovingly
renovated to a large sleeping room with white walls, cathedral
ceiling, several windows, pine floors, and a private bath.
This room offers lots of light, fresh air, a nice water view,
lovely antique oak furnishings, Vermont stove, presidential
rocking chairs, and a red Oriental rug. Outside is a
picturesque sitting area with flower boxes and Maine rocking
chairs. |

Room #6 (Bliss)
(photo right)
Elegance and beauty best describe our newest room. Treat
yourselves to this special room on the third level, offering
cathedral ceilings and a panoramic view of the harbor. This is
a room filled with light and fresh sea air, with its 13
windows, balcony, and French doors opening to a lovely
whirlpool for two, were you can relax while gazing at the
stars and the harbor. Bliss is furnished with attractive
mahogany antiques, including a queen-sized poster bed, oak
floors, and floor-length drapes. Recommended for honeymoons
