- Payment: Deposit of one night by personal check. Visa
and MasterCard are accepted.
- Restrictions: Smoke-free. Pets need to be boarded at the
local pet motel. Children over 8 are welcome.
- Breakfast: A delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade
granola, hot egg dish, and freshly baked muffins or popovers is
served between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

- Recreation & Activities: 5 minute walk to many kinds
of boating activities including Monhegan Island day trip, scenic
tours, island excursions, sailing, kayaking, etc. Golf, mini-golf,
tennis, YMCA facilities all within 5 minute drive; mile-long beaches
within an hour's drive; swim and fish right off the bed and
breakfast's own dock.
- Attractions & Special Events: Known as the Boating
Capitol of Maine, there are 40 different boat excursions daily in
season, and even a few off season. World famous artists have
frequent shows in the many art galleries. Craft fairs and band
concerts take place weekly on the library lawn in the summer. The
village features many pottery, antique and gift shops as well as
fine restaurants serving all varieties of food and especially
lobster. Festivals include: April- Fisherman's Festival,
May- Scottish Festival, June- Windjammer Days, July-Antique
Autos show, Antique shows, October- Fall Foliage Festival,
November- Early Bird Sale days, and December-
Festival of Lights.
- Recommended Local Restaurants: Lunch- Blue Moon Cafe;
for a quick Supper- Ebb Tide; for casual dining- Tugboat Inn.
- Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: The day excursion to
Monhegan Island -- a scenic ride to the unique island where you
explore the lobstering village, the trails to the highest cliffs in
Maine, the lighthouse and museum, art galleries, and Inns for lunch.
- Directions: From the Maine Turnpike Exit 9; follow Route
95 to Route 1 in Brunswick; then Route 1 North to
Wiscasset/Edgecomb. Turn South (left) on Route 27; 12 miles to the
Harbor where you follow Commercial Street to its dead end, turn left
onto Eames Road (dead end); 2nd white house on right.
