- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received
at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for full refund.
With less than 14 days' notice, full charge will apply unless room

7:00 p.m. are asked to call with approximate arrival time. Check-out:

within one to seven miles. Also auctions and craft fairs, old book
shops, art galleries, concerts, and museums.
- Attractions & Special Events: Ocean - Flying Cloud is
on a tidal estuary, 12 miles to open ocean, Wawenock Golf Course,
Dodge Point, Maine Maritime Museum, excursions to Monhegan Island,
Pemaquid Lighthouse, Fort William Henry. The Inn is near Boothbay
Harbor, Camden, LL Bean, and Acadia National Park. Boothbay
Windjammer Days, Fair, and Old Bristol.
- Recommended Local Restaurant: Salt Bay Cafe, Moody's
Diner, Schooner Landing, Shaw's Lobster Wharf, King Eider's Pub, and
Damariscotta Grill.
- Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Rockbound Coast
scenery, proliferation of little-known antique shops, auction
(antique) houses, and great flea markets. Fresh water swimming holes
and 1/2 mile to delightful Damariscotta.
- Directions: From the South: Take the
Maine turnpike to NEW exit 52 (old exit 9). Leave turnpike at this
time and take NEW I-295 (old I-95) and continue north on I-295 to
NEW exit 28 (old exit 22) "Brunswick/Bath-Coastal Rt. 1"
We are 28 miles north from this point. Go through Brunswick, Bath
and Wiscasset. 6 ½ miles north of the Wiscasset bridge, turn
right onto the River Road. The Flying Cloud is 7/10 mile on your
left.
From the North: U.S. Route 1 South. Past first
Damariscotta / Newcastle exit, continue 1 1/2 miles. Watch for our
sign, then take the first left onto River Road. We are 7/10 mile on
the left.
One hour from Portland. Three hours from Boston. Three hours
from the Manchester Airport, NH.
