Haley Farm's 65-acre setting, only three hours from
Washington DC and two hours from Pittsburgh, offers a
relaxing getaway experience that will be memorable. The
Inn's romantic packages with flowers, Champagne, dinner,
and massage are extremely popular.
The Bed and Breakfast is beautifully decorated with
tapestries, antiques and objects from your host's world
travels. The luxury suites, popular with honeymooners and
guests celebrating special occasions, each have a
heart-shaped Jacuzzi, a sitting room with fireplace,
TV/VCR/DVD player, a king- or queen-size bed, and a fully
equipped kitchen. The master- and mini-suites also each
have a Jacuzzi, sitting area with a fireplace, and
TV/VCR/DVD player, but don't have kitchens. The deluxe
room has a queen-size bed and private bathroom. Guests
will find that all rooms are air-conditioned and provide
robes, slippers, and hairdryers.
Before embarking on the day's activities, you are
awakened to the delicious aroma of a gourmet breakfast,
which includes home-made nutbreads, home-made jams,
souffles, quiche, and more. Guests enjoy sipping coffee on
the wrap-around porch with its magnificent view of the
rolling hills, cornfields, and orchards. The grapevines
and wildflower meadows are soothing antidotes to the high
pace of urban living.
Play croquet or horseshoes, go cross-country skiing or
tubing on the farm, enjoy a picnic in the gazebo, or fish
in the pond. There are also bikes for you to ride. If less
strenuous activities are on your mind, you can watch the
horses, sit on the porch, and take in nature. Relax on the
hammock, take a sauna, or pamper yourself with a facial or
a massage.
Haley Farm is conveniently located to enjoy winter
activities, with WISP ski resort only 10 minutes away,
plus wonderful cross-country skiing in the state parks.
Spring, summer, and fall offer great water sports from
swimming to fishing, whitewater rafting, and boating. You
will be in the heart of Deep Creek activities with fine
restaurants, night life, antique and gift shops, two golf
courses, and historic Oakland. |

Haley Farm accommodations extend to a Lakeside Cottage on
Deep Creek Lake, as a short- or long-term vacation rental
which sleeps up to seven people.
The main sitting room has a fireplace and a TV/VCR/DVD
player and overlooks the sun porch. From here you have the
best view of the lake.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and also opens to the
sun porch. The dining room and kitchen are tastefully
decorated and well equipped with toaster, blender, coffee
maker, dishwasher, and microwave, etc.
Outside there is a gazebo, hot tub, and the cottage's
private dock. You can rent a boat or bring one with you.
Whether escaping from the stress and grind of the city or
taking a romantic getaway, the Deep Creek Lake area's cooler
