• Restrictions: No pets. 2 persons max. per room. Children age 12 and older welcome.
• Breakfast: Full gourmet breakfast served to you at private windowside tables.
• Special Events at Inn: Accept bookings for special events.
• Recreation & Activities: Downhill and cross-country skiing, swimming dock, canoes, fishing, paddleboating, billiards, tennis courts, hot tub, and bicycles are all available
• Attractions & Special Events: Great fishing at Deep Creek Lake and Youghiogheny River for walleye perch, bass, chain pickerel, and bluegills. Lots of brown, brook, and rainbow trout in streams. County-wide fishing contest May 1 to Sept. 30 every year with weekly winners. (Complimentary fishing equipment is available at the Inn for guests.) Wisp ski resort is 5 minutes from Carmel Cove for downhill skiing with 32 slopes and 9 lifts. Cross-country trails available on the premises with complimentary equipment for Inn guests. Six state parks, craft and antique shops.

• Directions: From Washington, D.C./Baltimore: take I-70 West, then I-68 West to Exit 14-A. Take Route 219 South approximately 20 miles to the lake, over the Route 219 bridge and continue along the lake 2 more miles to Glendale Road. Make a left on Glendale Road, travel 1 mile, go over the bridge and bear right at the end of the bridge. Continue 1 mile to Carmel Cove. Turn left into Carmel Cove, then bear left to the Inn.
  From Pittsburgh: take I-79 South, then I-68 East to Maryland Exit 4 (Friendsville). Take 42 South to 219 South past the lake, over the route 219 bridge and continue past the lake 2 more miles to Glendale Road, make a left on Glendale Road and travel 1 mile, go over the bridge and bear right at the end of the bridge. Continue 1 mile to Carmel Cove. Turn left into Carmel Cove, then bear left to the Inn.
