A converted trolley bridge spanning the Deerfield River contains a unique walkway flanked by florae from spring through fall. Slightly downstream from the bridge are more than 50 potholes ground out of granite during the Glacial Ages.

Candle-makers dip beeswax and bayberry candles using methods practiced centuries ago. Free demonstrations are conducted throughout the day. Open daily 9:30 to 6 p.m. Free admission. Yankee Candle Car Museum, Routes 5 and 10, (413) 665-2020 or toll-free (877) 636-2020. Fascinating place for car buffs of all ages. Changing exhibits of more than 80 antique and exotic automobiles. Get your picture taken in a 1982 Ferrari 308 GTS or a 1962 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce. Open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
