Caramel French Toast

Ingredients

1 stick butter

1 cup brown sugar

2 Tablespoons Karo light corn syrup

1 loaf French bread

6 eggs

1-1/2 cups milk

2 teaspoons vanilla

Cinnamon to taste

Mixed berries and whipped cream

Combine butter, brown sugar, and Karo syrup in saucepan over medium heat until it boils. Pour into 9 x 13-inch casserole pan. Slice French bread into 1-inch pieces. Lay bread in pan over caramel. Mix eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour over bread. Sprinkle cinnamon over top and bake at 300 degrees for one hour. Serve with mixed berries and whipped cream.
