- Payment: Reservations are guaranteed by deposit, advance
payment, or valid credit card number and expiration date. Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner's Club charge
cards are honored.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must received
at least 1 week prior to scheduled arrival for weekend bookings and
at least 48 hours in advance for weekday reservations. Failure to
notify the innkeeper of intentions to cancel or of early departure
by 1:00 p.m. of the appropriate day will result in full charge.
- Restrictions: Children 12 and over welcome. No smoking.
Quiet dogs under 20 pounds and courteous owners are welcome in
select rooms for an extra fee.
- Breakfast: Hearty continental buffet-style breakfast
served in dining room.

with wonderful consignment antique shops. It is very picturesque,
with many hills and old trees. Known as "Wall Street East."
A great place to start a trip into New England.
- Directions: From the Connecticut Turnpike
(I-95): Take Exit 4 (Indian Field Road.) If coming from NYC,
turn left; from New Haven, turn right. Follow Indian Field Road for
about 3/4 mile to Putnam Avenue. At this traffic light make a left
and go about 1 mile to Maple Avenue (the Second Congregational
Church will be on your right.) Make a sharp turn to the right before
the Church and go approximately 150 yards. The Stanton House Inn is
on your left.
From the Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 31. Turn
towards the Greenwich Business District. Go approximately 4 miles to
where the road intersects with Maple Avenue. Turn left and go about
150 yards. The Stanton House is on the right.
By train: Manhattan to Greenwich takes 35
minutes. (Metro-North Express from Grand Central Terminal.) 24-hour
taxi service at Greenwich station.
