The town of Madison is
located near the center of Connecticut's Long Island Sound
shoreline. Madison is a unique town graced by the sound to the
south and by farms and woodlands to the north. Just a short drive
from big cities, the town has an ambiance of a special getaway.
The largest beach in the
state, Hammonasset, is located in Madison. Other area attractions
include Hammonasset Beach State Park, Cockaponset State Forest,
Allis-Bushnell House Museum, and Deacon John Graves House.
