All of us at Angels' Watch Inn would be most honored to help
you create a wedding day that will be a special, happy, and
cherished memory for the both of you as your journey through
life together as a married couple begins.

We have created a wedding/vow renewal package is for those
of you who do not want to deal with the extreme stress and
expense of a large wedding or vow renewal, but still want the
magic, memories, tradition and blessings of your own small,
intimate, private and special day. The wedding/vow renewal
packages are for all couples wishing to marry or renew their
vows.
The wedding ceremony can be performed in our beautiful park
like yard under our gazebo or arbor, on the beach with
spectacular views of Long Island Sound or in our quaint and
pretty living room in front of our beautiful fireplace.
Anywhere that you would like. Outdoor wedding ceremonies and
events are held from May 1 through October 15. Weather
permitting.
Ceremonies can also be performed on a Marriage Labyrinth
designed with the conscious intent of bringing joy, balance,
patience, love, understanding, respect, and everything good to
your marriage.
Wedding packages are designed for just the two of you, and
up to 30 additional people if you choose. |

- We provide our Justice of the Peace. She is wonderful.
She lets you do just what you would like to do. Her ceremony
is warm, personal, and special. If you would like to recite
your own vows or passages, you can. You can also provide
your own Justice of the Peace.

- Up to 3 rolls of 35-mm film of before, during, and after
the ceremony
- A video of the ceremony and reception at the Inn
- Digital photos of ceremony and reception at the Inn put
on a CD
- Champagne toast (or other beverage) with keepsake flutes
- A wedding cake with a keepsake topper

- 2 evenings' stay in our Angel Loft or Back Room Suite
with all of our usual amenities, including strawberries
dipped in chocolate upon arrival and your choice of
beverages stocked in the mini-refrigerator in your room
- We provide transportation to and from the Cafe Routier.
It is a lovely, intimate restaurant just 1.2 miles from the
Inn with an exquisite menu. They work very closely with us
to make sure that your wedding dinner is a wonderful and
memorable experience. They can also customize a special
wedding dinner for you. The prices for dinner are
approximately $4.00 to $8.00 for an appetizer and $17.00 to
$21.00 for your main entree. (Price for the dinner is a
separate charge; you pay the Cafe Routier.)

Ceremonies performed on a Marriage Labyrinth are additional
cost. Marriage Labyrinth is designed and provided by Greg
Coleman of HeartStone Labyrinth.
If you want a small reception at the Inn, we now offer two
different packages:
The Cherub
A three-hour casual buffet reception at the Inn,
including champagne toast or other beverage with a cheese and
fruit board, beer, wine, sodas, coffee, tea, and wedding cake
for $25.00 per person. Children under 10 are free.
The Arch Angel
A three-hour casual buffet reception at the Inn,
including champagne toast or other beverage, large delicious
and abundant appetizers enough to feed your guests in lieu of
dinner, beer, wine, sodas, coffee, tea, and wedding cake for
$40.00 per person. Children under 10 are free.
Add an additional $5.00 per person to the Arch Angel
package for a carving roast beef, ham, or turkey breast.
Additional food items such as pasta trays, lasagna,
salads, etc. can be provided. The fee for these additional
items charged to you will be based on our cost to purchase
them.
The staff at Angels' Watch Inn works extremely hard to
make sure that your wedding is perfect. For wedding receptions
over 10 people, there will be an additional 18% gratuity added
to the cost of the reception as a much appreciated thank you.
Bride and groom will be responsible for the cost of the
rental fee for any additional chairs or supplies that they
request in addition to what we already offer. We have a
specialist who will come to the Inn and provide salon services
in the privacy of your room, such as hair (specializing in Up
Do styles), manicures, pedicures, and makeup application.
These services are provided at an additional cost. Rates are
$25.00 through $90.00 depending on what service is provided.
Bride and Groom will be responsible for the cost of additional
flowers requested. The Bridal bouquet and the Grooms
boutonniere are included in the package. |

Availability: Ceremonies are performed every day,
holidays and special events excluded. Ceremonies are an
additional $120.00 if performed on Fridays and Saturdays May 1
through November 11.
If you would like to provide accommodations for your
guests, lodging is $135.00 per room per evening based on
double occupancy Sunday through Thursday May 1 through
November 11, and every day November 12 through April 30.
Accommodations for your guests with a Saturday evening stay
are $155.00 through $195.00 per evening May 1 through November
11. This room rate includes all of our usual amenities. Does
not include 12% room use tax. |

Bridal/Groom
Massage With Christine
Getting married is a joyous and exciting time. As your day
approaches, anticipation grows along with anxiety and stress.
Make sure that the negative stress and emotions are relieved
so that the true spirit of the day can be captured. Enjoy a
massage along with a body treatment before your special day.
It is worth it. Rate: 60-minute session for $100. A 10%
discount for massages for both the bride and groom. |

The Connecticut shoreline is known for many of its fine
museums. Visit several fascinating and educational museums
minutes from the Inn or under a 45-minute drive.
Spend a day at Mashantucket Pequot Museum &
Research Center. History, science, and nature all come
alive at the Pequot Museum. Walk through a remarkable
half-acre re-creation of a 16th-century Pequot coastal village
featuring authentic sights, sounds, and smells. For more

Connecticut River Museum, Essex, CT
The 1879 Steamboat Dock, at the foot of Main Street in
historic Essex Village, served as a port of call for steamboat
service from New York City to Hartford, Connecticut. This
National Register site replaced earlier commercial wharves
dating back to 1650, when colonial ships started trade with
the West Indies. Today, Steamboat Dock is home to the
Connecticut River Museum, where the Connecticut River Valley
story is told through year-round changing exhibitions,

at The Castle
Take the Chester - Hadlyme ferry across the Connecticut
River from Chester to get to Gillette Castle. While crossing
the river, the castle is in full view in all it's majesty,
sitting atop the cliffs. Wonderful stonewall architecture
corral the paths on the park grounds. There is a lookout
terrace that offers a breathtaking view across the Connecticut
River. Picnic at Gillette Castle with a wicker basket filled
with fresh fruit in season, cheese, salads, fresh deli-style
sandwich made to order, beverage, and a special dessert.

Bird
Watching Along the Shoreline at Hammonasset Beach
Birdwatching -- it's spectacular here. It's not uncommon to
see Hawks here, nesting on the provided platforms. Snowy
Egrets and Great Blue Herons will be slowing stalking their
way through the salt marshes, while Terns dive and swoop in a
never-ending show.
Hammonasset Beach is located on Route 1 in Madison,
Connecticut, just south of I-95 Exit 62. The park offers
camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, and birdwatching.
Hammonasset is open year-round and charges for parking during
the summer season, but generally only on nice weekends in the
spring and fall. |

of Hiking in the Woods
If hiking and being nestled amongst tall pines and listening

in our beautiful state forests. Just under 20 minutes from the
Inn will bring you to a day of hiking at Devil's Hopyard and
Gillette Castle, both located in East Haddam, CT. From there,
try the hiking trails at Chatfield Hollow in Killingworth, CT.

Ride the Essex Steam:Train The Essex Steam Train
ride is a fun-filled trip for adults and children of all ages!
We have two coal-fired locomotives available to pull our
collection of lovely restored railroad cars. You will be swept
away by the hiss of steam, the blast of the whistle, and the
clickety-clack of the tracks. From the exciting "All
Aboard" to the engineer checking the locomotive before
the run, you will experience an authentic journey back to the
days of steam.
The Essex Steam Train is operated by the Valley Railroad
Company. As a tourist excursion, we are pleased to take you
through some of the most beautiful country in the state. You
will find forests and streams, beautiful vistas and nostalgic
towns, and some gorgeous views of the Connecticut River.
Ride the River Boat: Before there were trucks and
highways, airplanes and transcontinental flights, the nation's
railways and rivers were the major roads of commerce. At the
Essex Steam Train and River Boat, these venerable modes of
transportation live again! Steam Train passengers who purchase
tickets for the riverboat ride disembark at Deep River
Landing. Here, you board a riverboat for a relaxing and
informative ride up the beautiful Connecticut River, from Deep
River, to East Haddam. Sit back, take in the fresh air, and
learn about the history and natural wonder of the Connecticut
