• Accommodations: 9 individual cabins (1 to 3 bedrooms each) and 3 lodge rooms, each with private bath. Some accommodations are handicapped accessible.

  Minimum stay is 3 nights during the winter season and 7 nights during the summer season.
• Rates: include meals, lodging, and ranch activities. For children 11 and under, the winter rates are $100.00 less per night; the summer rates are $500.00 less per week. Rates subject to change without notice.

• Payment: 25% deposit required to hold reservation. No credit cards.
• Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, your deposit will be returned in full if the space is re-booked, or you can apply it toward a subsequent stay in the following summer or winter season.
• Restrictions: No smoking. Children 3 or older are welcome. Sorry, no pets.
• Meals: 3 bountiful meals per day prepared by the award-winning chefs and served in the lodge, on the sun deck, or on the trail.
• Special Events at Ranch: Small meeting groups and retreats.

• Winter Ranch Activities: Guided back-country tours, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, horseback riding, ski-in lunches, fun-on-skis events, sledding, snow games, special adventures for kids, a wide range of evening entertainment, and cross-country country skiing on ranch-groomed trails, telemark hills and a plethora of trails found in the adjoining national forest.
• Summer Ranch Activities: Horseback riding at the Vista Verde includes in-depth arena instruction in addition to scenic trail rides at the ranch and in the adjoining national forest. Also rock climbing, river rafting/kayaking, professional rodeo events in town, ranch rodeo events, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, supervised children's and teen's activities such as gold panning and horseback riding, and nightly entertainment.
• Recreation & Activities outside the ranch: Winter: Dog sledding, ice climbing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, and hot-air ballooning. Summer: Fly fishing, rock climbing, pack trips, golf, and hot air ballooning.
• Programs: Cattle drives, guided fishing, and back-country ski trips in winter, among others.
• Attractions & Special Events: Routt National Forest and Continental Divide.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Strawberry Park Hot Springs.
• Transportation: Ranch Suburbans take you into Steamboat Springs for activities such as the rodeo, raft trips, hot springs, and shopping. The ranch also provides transfers to and from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport at Hayden.
